Richard "Rick" Jones, 73, of Lake Mary, FL, died peacefully with his sons by his side on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, in Geneva, Florida at the age of 73.

Rick was born on October 20th, 1951, in Orlando, Florida the son of Ernest Jones and Marie
MacDonald.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Bob and sister Gayle.

Rick is survived by his brother Tom, and his sons Patrick and Christopher.

He graduated from Bishop Moore High School and started his professional
career as a delivery driver for Graybar Electrical Supply, where he worked his way up to
electrical sales. After moving to Lake Mary, Rick was hired by Intermatic Incorporated
where he spent over 20 years, most recently as a Regional Sales Manager. He was
then recruited by NSI Industries where he became the company's first National
Applications Manager. Rick retired in 2016 after a long and prestigious career in the
electrical industry.

Rick was a devout member of the church. He was in the Knights of Columbus as a
Knight of the third degree and served as president of the Columbus Club. His favorite
pastimes included fishing, hunting, following Notre Dame football, and spending time
with his grandchildren.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 2:30pm on Saturday, March 15th at the All-Souls Historic Chapel, 800 S. Oak Ave. Sanford, Florida with Deacon Tom Dubois officiating the ceremony.
