It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Alan Johnson, 66 of Venice, Florida, announce his passing on April 19, 2018. Rick passed away peacefully surrounded and embraced by his loving family after a 6-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Mr. Johnson was born May 2, 1951 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Norman Paul Johnson and Louise Desto. Rick was known to many as a fun-loving and very sentimental person. He spent most of his life running his own transportation business with his former wife, Elisa Grabau, that was started in Boston, MA. He later became a stock market day trader and recently had been promoted to stock broker. He is survived by his two daughters: Brooke Krbec and Shawn Peverly. He was extremely proud of both of his daughters with whom he had built very strong friendships and memories throughout their lives. He will also be forever remembered by his extended family and current partner, Barbara "Basia" Mazurowski.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held on May 12th, 2018 in Situate, MA.
