Richard Duane Miller, 77, of Orlando, Florida succumbed to lung cancer at home surrounded by his family on November 7, 2015.
Richard was born in Green Castle, Indiana. He enjoyed the company of family and friends and was always the life of the party.
After serving in the Army and Navy and traveling the world for 30 years he retired and held various roles with the Department of Defense. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed a good book, sci-fi movies, puzzles and traveling with his loving wife. A thrill seeker he would never miss an opportunity to ride a new roller coaster. He was always there to help friends and family when in need.
Richard is survived by his wife Elvira of 39 years. Local family included his son Stan (Michele) Miller, daughter Gio (Carlos) Lizarazo, Sons Rick and Randy and daughters Renee and Dawn in Indiana, many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard was a hard working loving father, amazing husband, and fun grandfather and friend to all.
