Obituary

Richard Albert Caligiuri (Okiedokie) passed away on October 30, 2023. Richard was born in Providence, RI on May 20th, 1936. He was a proud veteran who served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart. After the service he went on to be a bus driver and traveled throughout the United States and loved to share stories about his trips. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his 6 children Joe ( Ellize) Caligiuri, Peggy (Preston) Groseclose, Richard Junior (Candy) Caligiuri, Michael (Paula) Caligiuri, David (Claudia) Caligiuri and Thomas (Jennifer) Caligiuri. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren Chris, Ezra, Melissa, Brandon, Patricia, Michelle, Angela, Anthony, Bradley, Allison and Christopher, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Joseph (Patricia) Caligiuri, Bobby (Karen) Caligiuri and sister Joyce (Wilfred) Farland. He was preceded in death by his wife Eloise Caligiuri, daughter Denise Caligiuri and grandson Patrick.
