Rhonis Cornella Barnard, age 73, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2022. Rhonis was born on May 25, 1948 in Newfield, Antigua and Barbuda, the daughter of Grettalin (Brown) and Clive Samuel.

Rhonis is preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Bernard, and siblings Sylvia Williams, Ceville Hector, Helen Nicholas, Joycelyn Royer and Trevor Gomes; and is survived by her husband Rupert Christopher Barnard, daughter Rosalie Bernard, daughter-in-law Nika Bernard; grandchildren Rayan Shields and Najwa Barnard; and siblings Leo Gomes, Holice (Cheryl) Gomes, Earl (Debbie) Glanville, Pauline (Randall) Phillips and Veda (Ivan) Sealey.
