Reverend Edward T. Burns �Tom� 71 passed away Monday, July 21, 2014. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy. Reverend Burns was pastor of several churches in the area, most recently he was Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Holiday, Florida for the last three years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Pattye L. Burns; loving father of Lori Harper and her husband, Marshall; Kimberly Goelz and her husband, Steve; Thomas Burns and his wife, Christie; he was the proud grandfather of nine; brother of Edward Burns and Kathryn Azbell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2014 at Seminole First Baptist Church 11045 Park Blvd., Seminole, Florida 33772 at 10 A.M. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery Friday, July 25, 2014 at 2 P.M. with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Morton Plant Mease Foundation or the Calvary Baptist Church of Holiday.
