Regina (Jeanna) Richards, died September 12, 2014 at age 96, after a long illness. She is survived by her children:

Carol Vevera, Matiland, Florida
Janet Beaty, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Kent Leyonmark and Claire Leyonmark, Orlando, Florida
7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Regina was born October 9, 1917 in New York to Irish catholic parents, Francis and Madeline Broderick. In 1939 she was married to George Leyonmark the day after Christmas. They moved to New Jersey where George worked for Standard Oil for many years. They had 4 children. They moved to Centerport, NY to work for a smaller company until George was offered a job at Martin Marietta in Orlando, Florida. George died shortly after leaving Regina with 4 children under the age of 20 to raise on her own. She got a job at Martin as did her two older daughters. They would all drive to work together until one got married and the other went off to college.

Regina loved to dance, which is where she met Douglas Richards. They were married in 1967. Regina continued to work at various jobs until age 75. She lost her second husband when she was 85 years old, but continued to live on her own until her daughter Claire came to live with her. She had been in the nursing home for 3-1/2 years until she passed away. We will miss her as she was always there for us.
