Raymond G. Ray 97 of St. Petersburg passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. Born in Atwood, Kansas, he moved here 78 years ago. Locally he was owner/operator of an appliance business, member of Pasadena Country Club and an avid golfer. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Doris Marie Ray. He is the loving father of Sharon M. Perdue, Raymond B. Ray, Robert A. Ray, Pamela G. Gruber, Constance V. Hagan, Rebecca A. Jolley and Jonathon D. Ray; grandfather of 17; great grandfather of 16. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 7 beginning at 10 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
