Raymond Arthur Heffernan, 82, Maitland, FL passed away on 1/31/2018 from complications of Parkinson's disease. Ray was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 26, 1935 to Cornelius & Margaret (McCarthy) Heffernan. He served in the United States Navy for five years. He moved to the Orlando area in 1974. He worked for the City of Casselberry for 24 years and was "Santa Claus" for many years for the City's annual holiday celebration. He was also a long time member of the Irish American Club where he served as President and marched in the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Winter Park. Ray is survived by his "bride" of 58 years, Marguerite (Peggy), his five children, Beth (Robert), Kelly, Timothy (Cindy), Kerry, Bryan and his seven grandchildren, Keeley, Jasmine, Bailey, Kellan, Jade, Peyton and Jordan. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Mallon of Leander, TX, his nephew Michael and four nieces Kelly, Jill, Jackie, and Lori. Services will be
