Ranita Everett Stevens began her eternity in Heaven on Jan 13, 2021. She was born in Orlando, Florida to Emory and Ethelyn Everett on Nov 11, 1946, and had one brother, Allen Everett, who loved and adored her.

In 1964 she graduated from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida. During her senior year in high school she met and dated DeForest (Forrie) Lynn Stevens who became her husband on August 9, 1969, and 51 years later remains the love of her life. She lived in Winter Park and Orlando Florida, but some of her most cherished memories were spent with her family at their home in Kennedy, NY, and Summers spent in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Ranita was strong in her faith, treasured life, and loved her family beyond measure. She always had a smile on her face, even during challenging times, and always put her faith, family, and friends first. If anyone ever needed anything she was there to help in anywayshe was able. She was selfless, compassionate, empathetic, loving, and a true glowing example of Christ's love.

Her girls, Deeandra, Stacia, Haley, and Kiley were her pride and joy. Having played a huge role in all of their lives, her matriarchal influence of love, advice, and guidance throughout the years, provided them a faith-based foundation from which they draw amazing inspiration from. She was everyone's Gaga, loved by so many. We will surely miss those "Gaga hugs" - ones embraced with true unconditional love that settle your heart.

Ranita is survived by her husband DeForest Lynn Stevens, her daughter Deeandra Swabb, her granddaughter Stacia Wares, her great-grandchildren Haley and Kiley Wares, and many others within her extended family, including cousins, nieces, and nephews.
