Randolph (Randy) W. Balz, Age 59, of Casselberry, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2014. He was born on September 5, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN.

Randy loved sports and the outdoors. He was an avid water and snow skier in his younger years and spent time as a lifeguard in Daytona Beach. He enjoyed watching football, boxing, golf and old movies.

Randy especially loved the holidays and being surrounded by family and friends. Each Christmas, he baked an entire day making different varieties of chocolate chip cookies by the dozen and took joy in sharing them with family, friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed July 4th & Super Bowl Sunday.

He is survived and missed by his loving wife, Rosalie, father Robert W., sister Robin Gillespie (Nate), brother Robert E. (Hilarie), his loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dolores and Salvatore Giallanzo, his brothers-in-law, George Giallanzo (Lori), John Giallanzo, numerous nieces and nephews, godchildren Amanda, Steven and Kayla and his beloved cats Kelsey and Kasey.

A viewing will be held at DeGuispe Funeral Home, 9001 N Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL
32751 on Friday, December 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

A funeral mass will be held at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N Park Ave, Winter Park, FL on Saturday, December 6th at 12:00 PM.
