Born: October 19, 1946 in Lynn, MA. Graduated St. Mary's High School, Lynn, MA.
Attended North Shore Community College and Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Worked for Friendly Ice Cream Corp., The Dolphin Hotel and Gaylord Palms Resort as the Capital Projects Manager. Was in the Marine Reserves for 6 years.
Moved to Florida in 1986 when Friendly Ice Cream expanded in to Florida.
Married to Sheila (McGrath) Thomas for 44 years. He leaves a son, Christopher D. Pike, a daughter, Kimberly E. Thomas-Steinman, her husband Marc and 3 grandchildren, Alyssa K. Thomas, Ryan and Liam Steinman, and a brother-in-law Kevin McGrath.
Ralph was an avid golfer and member of West Orange Country Club for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and playing with his grandchildren. Ralph was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed supporting his grandsons little league and soccer teams.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015 at DeGusipe Funeral Home West Orange at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with prayer service at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 am, to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial following services at Winter Garden Cemetery.
