With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rafael Caamaño, 77, who left this world on January 25, 2025. Born on September 14, 1947, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Rafael lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to his family. For the past 37 years, he called Orlando, Florida, home, creating countless cherished memories with those he loved.

He shared 53 beautiful years of marriage with his sweetheart, Maria (Maruca), though he always made sure to count the six years they spent dating. Together, they built a life centered on love, resilience, and family. Rafael was a proud and devoted father to three wonderful children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael Caamaño Pabon, and his mother, Rosa Machado Caamaño.

Rafael leaves behind his loving wife, Maria (Maruca); his oldest son, Rafael Caamaño, and his wife, Cristina; his daughter, Camille Linn, and her husband, Aaron; and his youngest son, Rafael Andrei Caamaño. His greatest joy came from his six amazing grandchildren—Adriana, Christian, Alyssa, Emmalys, Kyle, and Camilla—who will forever cherish the warmth of his love and wisdom. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Blanca Caamaño, and her family, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
