Our beloved father Prudencio A. Salunga, 88, of Sanford Florida, passed away at home on October 27, 2020.
He was born in Sta. Rita Pampanga Philippines. He attended Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Marketing.
Being a kind and dependable father was of utmost importance to our father and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family.
Prudencio is survived by his wife Mercedes Salunga and children; Aurora Jacalan, Teresita and husband Lolito Sazon, Evelyn and husband Ruben De La Cruz, Romulo and wife Leng Jacalan, Victoria and husband Larry Calimlim, Antonio and wife Josephine Salunga, Dennis and wife Rosalie Salunga, Evangeline Salunga, Imelda and husband John Taitano, and Danilo and wife Geraldine Salunga.
In addition, he is survived by his beloved grandchildren Denmark Padilla, Ralph Lawrence Jacalan, Marty and wife Ros Sazon, Mervin Sazon, Lysithea and husband Chris Ally, Russell De La Cruz, Ervin and wife Donna De La Cruz, Raven De La Cruz, Melissa Jacalan, Emmanuel Jacalan, John Jacalan, Carol Jacalan, Marlo Calimlim, Marco Calimlim, Grace Calimlim, Anjo Salunga, Claire Jessie Salunga, Angeline Pascual, Kayla-Wailani Taitano, Kelani Taitano and Dangerald Salunga. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on October 31, 2020 at All Soul's Catholic Church 3280 W. 1st Street Sanford, (SR#46) Florida 32771. Father David Vivero will be officiating the service. Prudencio's family will be present to welcome loved ones and friends.
Committal of cremation cremains will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, Fl 32792. Officiating Priest: Fr. Ken Metz, All Souls Catholic Church.
