Pilar Aponte, born on July 13, 1934 passed away on March 3, 2021. She was a resident of Winter Springs.

Pilar, a native of Barcelona, Spain, came to this country when she married her husband, Manuel, who was in the US Army. She lived her life lovingly caring for Manuel and their two sons, Manuel Jr. and Ricardo during Manuel's military career before settling in Florida.

She was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the chapel at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland, Fl 32751. Pilar will be interred in the Florida National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, FL to rest in eternal peace next to Manuel.
