Phyllis Ann Phillips Bertrand of Sanford, Florida went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2020. Phyllis was born on February 12, 1937 in Panama where her father Lancen Lee Phillips and Sarah Elizabeth Joyner Philips were stationed in the Army. In 1955 she graduated from High School in Panama and moved to Sanford, Florida where her parents retired.

She met Raymond Bertrand who was in the United State Marine Corp, at a USO party at the military base that was located back then on the Sanford Airport property. They were married at All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford and went on to several duty stations in California where three of their four children were born.

They returned to Sanford in 1972 to raise their four children Raymond Bertrand (wife Carol Shelton), Liz Lawson (husband Gary), Teresa Werner (husband Rick) and Jean. Phyllis has nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and will be missed.
