Phyllis Elaine Blacke-McClain, age 70 of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on June 19, 2021. Phyllis was born on August 15, 1950, the daughter of Ralph Blacke (Springfield, OH) and Juanita Nichols Blacke (Detroit, MI).

Phyllis was well educated, holding both a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kent State University, Ohio and a master's degree in Education. She retired from her position as a Senior Claims Representative for State Farm Insurance where she received many employee awards during her years at the company.

Phyllis enjoyed working for area Thrift Store Charities where she had the chance to give something back to the community and make a difference to the people around her.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Ralph (Born in Springfield, OH) and Juanita Blacke (Born in Detroit, MI).

Phyllis is survived by her husband Darrell W. McClain (Oviedo, FL); son: Kevin Blacke-McClain; granddaughter Jazmine and her brother Kevin Blacke-McClain (Chicago, IL).

Her presence will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
