Phillip Eugene Wines, Sr. departed this life on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Altamonte Springs, FL at the age of 82.
He was born in Gloria Gardens, CA on March 7, 1938 and grew up in Fort Worth, TX on his families dairy farm. At the age of 18 he joined the US Air Force and served from 1955-1966. After his Honorable Discharge from the military he went to work for the Washington Star Newspaper in Washington, DC.
Phil married Dolores Davineen Conley on July 23, 1966.
In 1980 he and his family moved to Orlando, FL where he worked at the Orlando Sentinel.
He loved his family and the Dallas Cowboys!
Survived by his Sister, Carolyn Welch; Children: Daniele Swain, Valerie Hammons, Mauri Ann Wade, Nicolette Worsnop, Phillip Wines Jr, Patrick Wines, and Melissa Wines; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Wife, Dolores Wines; Parents, Theodore and Jewell Wines; Brothers: Richard Wines, Douglas Wines, and Theodore Wines Jr; and Great Granddaughter, Bowen Nicolette Foskett.
