Phillip Tod Poneleit, 62, of Winter Springs, Florida passed away on March 18, 2023. Phillip was born on March 21, 1960 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Jack Poneleit and Arlita Poneleit (Small). Tod graduated from Lakewood High School in 1978 and went on to study Business Management at his beloved Florida State University. A proud member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at FSU; he stayed connected with his fraternity brothers until his passing.

After graduating with a business degree, Tod worked as a manager at Discount Auto Parts, before launching his long career in medical sales. He first thrived as a business accountant with McKesson and then went on to work with Henry Schein Medical Supply for many years. Tod's love for meeting people and his passion for sales fueled a very successful career. He never met a stranger and enjoyed making connections in his community and the medical industry.

Tod was a devout Christian and attended Crosslife church until his health started to decline. He always made sure his family and friend's needs were being met, regardless of the many health challenges he faced. In addition to helping those close to him, he loved his rescue dogs Digger, Whisper, and Shadow. He enjoyed spending his days with his sister, Debbie Elliott, who he was forever thankful to for all the love and care she offered him. Tod never had children of his own, but he remained a source of support and love for his niece (Ashley) and nephew (Justin). He was a loyal member of a bowling league where he made many friends. His favorite hobbies included watching all sports especially baseball and college football, playing golf, fishing in the Keys, lounging in the pool and relaxing with family.

Tod is survived by sister Debbie Elliott, niece Ashley Carter, nephew Justin Elliott, and many dear friends.
