Philip J. Mistarz's Obituary
Philip John Mistarz, age 57, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the lord on May 18, 2021.
He was born in Evanston, Illinois, on March 24, 1964, to Richard and Nona Payne Mistarz. Philip graduated from Bishop Moore High School and the University of Central Florida and had been employed by Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company.
A devoted son, father and brother, Philip is survived by his parents, Richard and Nona Payne Mistarz, his beloved daughter Madison Elizabeth Mistarz, and his sister Elizabeth Joan Mistarz and brother James Evans Mistarz and sister-in-law Traci.
He was blessed with many friends who deeply admired and appreciated him, and also his many cousins were an endearment to him.
Philip knew how to live life to the fullest. He loved to travel for business and pleasure, and sailing, fishing and photography were his forte.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle at 1 pm.
