The Beginning
Pauline Lorraine Marie Bascombe-Lee was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 17th, 1954, to parents Norma Williams and Kenneth Young. Shortly after her birth, Kenneth migrated to England and Pauline was adopted by Norma's fiancé and assumed his last name, Bascombe. Her paternal grandparents played a very important role in her formative years. She attended Holy Childhood Prep and High School.

The Journey
PB or Bassie, as she was affectionally called by those closest to her, started working for The Gleaner Company Limited right out of high school at the tender age of 16. This became the only company she worked for in Jamaica and she worked there for over 30 years, prior to migrating to the United States in 2007. Most of her working life there was spent in the newspaper's Advertising Department. Her co-worker and friend, Vinette, stated that Pauline was known by almost every employee in the company. She played Netball and Dominoes for Gleaner and won trophies for her company and her teams.

Pauline was the life of the party. She knew a lot of people and always got invited to all the fun events. Her job in the advertising department certainly helped, as she was well informed of ALL upcoming events before the public.

Pauline had three (3) children, Sandy, Rayondo, and Ronoldo. Pauline and her son Ronaldo migrated to the United States In 2007. She spent most of her time in New Jersey. She worked for approximately 10 years for Walmart and Kings Supermarket before moving to Maitland, Florida four years ago to join her son, Ray and grandson, Rorick. She stayed active by walking, and she enjoyed Salsa and Zumba classes.

The Transition
Pauline, precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servant [Psalm 116:15], transitioned on March 9th, 2025, at home in Maitland, Florida, 30-days after she was initially admitted in the hospital. Her passing was untimely. Pauline was preceded in death by her brother Winston Martin - 1982, Father Kenneth Young - 2008, Nephew Khajeel Mais - 2011, and Mother Norma Williams - 2019.

Remaining to Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Pauline Bascombe-Lee are; Children: Sandy Stewart, Rayondo Lee, Ronoldo Lee; Adopted daughter: Keyon Williams; Sisters: Carol, Donna, Allana, and Gaudia;
Brothers: Lester and Douglas; Grand Children: Hakim and Rorick; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
