Paula Taylor died on June 5th, 2019 from a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Paula was born to Robert and Florence Mooney in Memphis, Tennessee in 1960, but moved to Lake Mary, Florida in 1961. Paula attended All Souls Catholic School, Bishop Moore, Seminole High School, and UCF. She graduated with a degree in Accounting, a minor in Computer Science, and a GPA of 3.9. She was a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and Personal Financial Specialist. She owned the accounting firm of Paula Taylor CPA and Lake Mary Wealth Management.

Paula and David were married on May 1, 1982. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered by family and friends for her wonderful smile, positive attitude, her love of life, her passion for travel, and her ability to make things happen. She is survived by her husband David, daughter Brianne, stepchildren Dawn, Matt, and Jenifer, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and Lili and Emma Z. She was known most affectionately to her grandchildren as Gristen.

Paula was a devout Catholic, an avid cyclist, diver, traveler, and a Disney World grandmother.

Paula's ashes will be combined with David's, formed into an artificial reef ornament, and placed at the bottom of the sea to promote reef propagation and underwater wildlife.

There will be a funeral mass for Paula at Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood, Florida at 11:00 A.M. on July 13th.
