On February 11th, after a meaningful and colorful 65 years, Paul West stepped out of Florida Hospital South in Orlando onto streets of gold, where he is now walking with his father, Tony Wesolowski, and his Savior who "led him all the way."

He was a faithful man who helped found The Master's Academy, served enthusiastically on the board of the Pregnancy Center of Sanford, was appointed to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission, worked as a partner at Clayton & McCulloh, helped multiple people with legal and real estate needs, gave generously, led droves of students to memorize and apply Scripture to their lives, and fed bodies as well and as often as he fed souls.

More important than any of that to him, however, are the family members he leaves behind: the love of his life and his wife of 41 years, Anne, his kids Matt and Jenni (married to Kelly and Jay), the niece he helped bring up, Rebekah, and the ten grandkids he adored: Amanda, Josh, Jacob, Emily, Julia, Abigail, Samuel, Lucy, and Gabriel. His mother Irene Mate', brother Don Wesolowski, and sister Veronica Moore and their families are also feeling the loss of his presence profoundly.

While we grieve deeply, we are confident that he lives now in Heaven the way he lived here on earth and the way he died - in perfect peace - because his mind was stayed on the Lord.
