Our dearly beloved Father, Grandfather, and Husband Paul V. Swope, of Longwood, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his home on his 93rd birthday. He was born December 11, 1929 in Dresden, Ohio the son of Kenneth & Claribel Swope.

Paul served in the Navy from 1951-1955. He retired from General Electric in 1991. He mostly enjoyed golfing through the years but mainly spent his time with his wife Donna of 65 years, and their grandchildren. He was a man of great faith and had a heart of gold. He had a smile that lit up the room and only saw the good in all people.

Paul was preceded in death by his son Eric Paul Swope and his wife Lori. He is survived by his wife Donna (Frame) Swope and his daughters, Erin (Dan) Nantais and Teresa (Len) Nadolski; five grandchildren, Paul (Rebekah) Nantais, Tara Nantais, Erica Swope, Megan Nadolski, and Michael Nadolski.

He is also survived by his brother Dale (Cynthia) Swope from Florida, and preceded by his brothers Carroll Swope, Kenneth Swope and Jerry Swope, all from Zanesville, OH.

Visitation will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with prayer service at 8:30 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2022. (9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland FL). Funeral Mass service to be held at Annunciation Catholic Church at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, December 15, (1020 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs).
