In Loving Memory of Patricia 'Pat' Pandos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia 'Pat' Pandos, a beloved member of the Oviedo, Florida community. Pat peacefully left this world on November 16, 2023, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 27, 1936, in Export, Pennsylvania. Pat lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a deep love for her family and friends. She was a pillar of strength, a source of inspiration, and her legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Pat dedicated her life to creating a nurturing home for her family. She was married to William Pandos for over 65 years. Their life together was an exemplary example of love.

Her kitchen was the heart of countless gatherings, where laughter and love were shared. Pat's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she welcomed friends and neighbors with open arms, creating a sense of community that will be cherished for generations.

After her husband's William Pandos' service in the military, they moved to South Florida in the 1960's where she worked as the Secretary for the Mayor of Miramar in Florida for 15 years. She was well known for her fast typing skills, attention to detail and near-perfect handwriting. During the 1990's, they moved to Oviedo to enjoy her favorite pastime of traveling with her husband in their motorhome throughout the United States, visiting many notable National Parks.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Pat was an active member of the Palm Valley community. Pat was in the walking club. It brought her around the neighborhood where her branded walking gear could easily identify her. Another passion of hers, was crocheting with the Happy Hooker social group. She was known to make many afghan blankets and small caps for infants, which were donated to local hospitals. She was also known as an avid reader and loved to cook for her family-no guest was allowed to leave her house without the offer of a drink and at least a 'quick sandwich. Pats generosity knew no boundaries, and her compassion was a guiding light for many.

Pat is survived by her children: Karen Cappello (Joseph), Cheryl Philips (Thomas), William John Pandos (Donna), Margaret Hoffman (Phil); her adorning grandchildren; Jennifer, Danielle, Michael, Samantha, Tiffany, Joshua, Zachary, Philip, Pierce, and Katie; and great grandchildren; Theodore, Grant, Addie and Anna. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

As we mourn the loss of Patricia 'Pat' Pandos, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on everyone around her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult time. Pat's legacy of love, compassion, and community will forever endure in the hearts of those that had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral arrangements will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo, Florida. The mass service will be followed by interment at Queen of Angels Catholic Cemetery.
