It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Roering Macy, who peacefully left this world on April 1, 2024, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She born on January 4, 1944 in the picturesque town of Cleveland, Ohio, to her beloved parents Walter Litke and Mary Lou Powers.
Patricia's life was a tapestry of love, strength, and compassion, woven with threads of wisdom, grace and class. Her journey on earth was full of fun, laughter, and triumph in the face of adversity. Her unwavering light of enthusiasm for life will never be extinguished and will never be forgotten by all who knew her. She lived all over the world throughout her life including Iran & Saudi Arabia in the 1970's, Kansas City & Sanibel, Florida in the 1980's & 1990's, and Venice, Florida in the 2000's and beyond. In her career, she became one of the top producing realtors in the Kansas City metropolitan area winning many awards and helping people achieve their dreams with her negotiating prowess. However, her most cherished role in life was starring as the one and only "Mimi" to her beloved grandchildren, Jonathan & James Sieg, which included beach weekends, all you can eat seafood buffets, endless games of cards and monopoly, and driving golf carts in one of the many Kansas City subdivisions she developed.
Her light and legacy lives on through all she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Janice, the love of her life Frank Macy, and her most cherished pets Maggie, Max & Pearl. She is survived by her only daughter Mary Sieg and son-in-law Greg, grandchildren, Jonathan & James Sieg, niece Dawn Eure and husband Jeff, nephew T.R. Brunson, former brother-in-law Ted Brunson, and the Frank Macy family.
As we mourn the loss of Patricia Roering Macy, let us remember her with fondness and gratitude for the light and love she brought into all of our lives. Her spirit will forever shine brightly, illuminating our hearts with the memories of her kindness and compassion.
In honoring Patricia's memory, let us celebrate a life lived to the fullest, and a spirit that will never fade. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by all and loved beyond measure.
