Patricia Rita Gal 1/1/1933 ~ 11/2/2020

Patty was born in Westwego, Louisiana. She grew up in Grand Isle, Louisiana, but lived most of her years in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Along with her husband Richard Gal of 57 years, she is survived by her five children; Roxi Maupin, Mary LaRock, Tamarah Henderson, Corwin (Pin) and Graham Gal, six grandchildren; Tabatha Szivos, David Tryon 11, David Maupin, Tiffany Revolinski, Max and Summer Henderson and five great-grandchildren; Owen and Blair Szivos, Emmersyn Maupin, and Miles Revolinski.

She is now with her first great grandson Jack Szivos and all those that have gone before her. She is at peace.

She was a caterer for fundraisers for many years and was instrumental in raising funds for the Altamonte Library, PACE Brantley School and numerous other organizations.

She was an amazing Cajun chef, with recipes that often started with "a stick of butter and lots of garlic"! There was not one of our friends that ever left hungry! She had what we always called an army pot, that always had enough food for everyone and then some. That woman could cook! She left an impression on everyone that knew her.
