Patricia Jean Capsanes, 82, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Patricia was born September 5, 1936 in Baltimore, MD to the late Thelma and Francis Lewis.  She was the youngest child growing up with an older sister Shirley Lee Eckman who died in 1999. Her late husband, Theodore Peter Capsanes, died almost 2 years ago in September. She is survived by her only child, Peter Stephen Capsanes and his wife Cindy Beth Capsanes. Patricia had 3 grandchildren Stephen Peter Capsanes, James Connor Capsanes and Austin William Anderson.

Patricia grew up in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore where she met Theodore and they married on July 25. Ironically, she left us 1 day before what would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary. Patricia had a wonderful life working and living in Baltimore, Maryland; Bridgeport, Connecticut; Riverdale, Maryland; Richmond, Virginia and finally many years in Winter Park, Florida. Once the family settled in Winter Park, she spent 20 years at Consumer Credit Counseling Services, managing the office and assisting many people to rebuild their lives. She was an active member at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando. She spent many years involved with the church choir and the ladies Philoptochos society. She loved spending time with family, and she is finally at peace and no longer suffering from the Alzheimer's disease that took her from us long before she died. May her memory be eternal.

Arrangements in Baltimore will be handled by Ruck Funeral Homes in Towson, MD. Services and burial will take place at The Greek Orthodox Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, August 3rd beginning at 10:00 am - 5917 Windsor Mill Road Baltimore, MD 21207.  In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org or their home office at 225 N.
