Obituary

Pam was born and raised in Sanford, the second child of Clarence Otis (Dick) Jones and his wife, Joyce Adams Jones. She graduated from Seminole High School in the class of 1963.
Pam moved to Hobe Sound, Florida in 1969 and was the librarian at St Joseph's Catholic School in Stuart, FL. Relocating to Huntsville, AL in 1985, she was a technical librarian for Intergraph Corporation. Pam returned to Sanford in 1997, and married Otto Garrett on April 30, 2011.
Pam was an amazing piano player, enjoyed working in her garden, and loved animals; including her many dogs, and cats Gracie and Coco. She loved the beach, and her weekly dinner with former classmates of SHS. Pam was a wonderful wife, mom, sister, and friend to all.
Pam is survived by her husband Otto, his daughter Sara Garrett Doane, and her first husband Paul Fileger, their daughters Lori Fileger Butler and Christine Fileger Floyd, and their grandchildren Sarah and Lily Butler, Cayla, Chloe, Calvin, and Cara Floyd. Pam is also survived by her sister Suzanne Jones McKenzie, nephew Joshua Bassett, and sister Robin Jones Theisen, and nieces Emily Wells and Olivia Theisen.
Pam loved sandals and flip flops, so feel free to wear them to the service. Service will be at First United Methodist Church, 419 S Park Ave, Sanford, FL 32771 at 10:00 on Thursday, July 27, 2017.
