On Monday, August 5, 2019, Palmira Pereira, passed into Heaven at the age of 91, with her family by her side.

Palmira was born on February 18, 1928 in India to Francis Xavier and Rithinia Colaco, one of 10 children. She moved to the U.S. in 1992.

Palmira was predeceased by her husband Sebastian Honorato Pereira and son Cajetan Pereira. She is survived by Valentine Pereira, Danny and Greta Pereira, Blanche and Joe D'Silva, and Regina and Akbar Parpia as well as grandchildren Ryan, Joanne (Arun), Russell (Fatima), Abigail, Janice (Kyle), Joshua (Hina), Bianca, and Jason; and great grandchild Sarah.
