Otoniel Jose Alvarez, 26, a loving son, brother, friend, coach and an angel of God passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2018. He was born December 7th, 1992 and lived a life of love, spontaneity, adventure, fun and laughter. Otto is from Winter Park and attended Brookshire Elementary, Glenride Middle and Winter Park High School, where he excelled as a top-tier athlete of Winter Park Crew Team. One of Otto's biggest passions was coaching, teaching and molding young athletes at North Orlando Rowing, where he grew the program in size and heart. He demonstrated a true example of what a good person and friend should be; always stayed by his moral compass and brought many people from different walks of life together. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence and triumph, which will be lived on through his mother Rita, life-partner Amaya, two dogs Blue and Nala, and friends.
