Norman W. Koger of Sanford, Florida passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on June 9, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 18,1940 in Henry County, Virginia in the Reed Creek section of Bassett Virginia. Graduated from Fieldale High School. Born to Alvin B. Koger and Dolly W. Koger.
Predeceased by his parents Alvin and Dolly Koger, Loving wife Patricia and second wife Tatiana. Brothers Douglas and Jesse. Sisters Elizabeth, Josephine and Lillian. Son in Law Tracy Cochran and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by Daughters Kelly Freeze (Jason), Kimberly Pate (Mark), Son Richard Jones (Ann), Daughters Regina Koger and Karen Koger. 4 Grandchildren Jaysen Freeze, Tracy Cochran (Amari), Timothy Cochran (Allison) and Charlie Coleman (Ashtin). Great grand daughters Sadie and Lainey and 1 Great grand grandson Jackson. Grand fur babies Lillian Pup (his best friend), Callie Marie, and Paris Fedora. (Jason, Kelly, Jaysen), Angel & Ember Mouse (Kimberly and Mark). And several nieces and nephews.
Norman was a member of the US NAVY as a Airman Mechanic. Then began his lifelong career as a Truck Driver. He was known by the handle Wrong Way. He continued Driving until 2023 at the age of 82. He had a very full and loving life. He was able to see and do things that most common people could never dream of. He was the best Husband, Father, Papa and Friend to so many.
