Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was born in South Africa and grew up alongside her four sisters, of which she was the youngest sharing a childhood filled with family and love. She dedicated much of her life to teaching piano, passing on not only music but patience, kindness, and a love of learning to so many. She was an incredible mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose love was constant, unconditional, and deeply felt by everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will always be remembered for making the most delicious cheesecake, for the wisdom and knowledge she so generously shared, her amazing sense of humor and for the comfort she brought simply by being herself. Whether she was watching Everybody Loves Raymond or The Lawrence Welk Show, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her faith was strong until her final moments. Praying to Mother Mary, St. Charbel, St. Jude, St. Rafka. Her rosary in hand from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to sleep. She prayed for all her loved ones every day. Her legacy lives on through the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely- forever cherished and lovingly remembered. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Anthony of 69 years, as well as all of her children Claudia, Alice, Ted and Monica, as well as all her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She left her mark on so many hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church in her name.
