Nonilon “Noni” Alido Fallaria, 84, of Daleville, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by his loving children.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Corazon “Cora” Cuasay Fallaria, who preceded him in death five years ago. Noni and Cora shared more than five decades of marriage and built a beautiful life and family together. Since her passing, Noni carried her memory with him every single day. Their love and devotion to one another never faded, and his family takes comfort in knowing that they are together once again.

He is also preceded in death by his parents: Pablo and Gliceria Fallaria, and siblings: Sayling Fallaria, Aling Fallaria Famisaran, Darwin Fallaria, Eliza Fallaria Fleenor, Pablo Fallaria, Jr., Delia Fallaria Musa, and Belinda Fallaria Falogme.

Noni was born in Odiongan, Romblon, Philippines. From his beginnings in the Philippines, he went on to build a life in the United States defined by faith, family, service, and kindness.

Noni proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant. His military career reflected the dedication, discipline, and quiet strength that remained part of his character throughout his life.

Following his military service, Noni continued working as an optometrist, spending many years helping others see the world more clearly. His desire to serve others extended far beyond his profession and was evident in the way he lived his everyday life.

A man of deep faith, Noni loved God with his whole heart and soul. His life was influenced by both the Seventh-day Adventist and Catholic faith traditions, and his faith was reflected not only in what he believed, but in the gentle and caring way he treated others.

Noni had a special love for golf and tennis, but golf held an especially meaningful place in his heart. True to his creative spirit and strong faith, he transformed the word GOLF into his own personal testimony:

He was also known for playfully creating acronyms from the names of different car brands, somehow always finding a way to bring them back to God and lessons of faith. It was one of the many unique ways Noni shared his personality, creativity, and beliefs with those around him.

Noni was also a beloved and active member of the Fil-Am Community of Southeast Alabama, where he developed lasting friendships, celebrated his Filipino heritage, and shared his warmth and kindness with those who knew him.

Those closest to Noni will remember him as a quiet, gentle, kind, and loving man. He did not need to be the loudest person in the room to make his presence known; his killer wardrobe did the talking for him. His strength could be found in his calm nature, his devotion to his family, his faith in God, and the kindness he showed to others.

Above all, Noni was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his three children: Ray Nilzon C. Fallaria (Jenny U.) of San Antonio, TX; Michael Ian C. Fallaria of Daleville, AL; Cherry Anne C. Fallaria Jordon (Matthew) of Orlando, FL; and his four beloved grandchildren, Jaclyn, Mateo, Grady, and Alannah; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whose lives he touched throughout his 84 years.

Noni’s life was an extraordinary journey from the Philippines to the United States, through two decades of military service, a career devoted to helping others, and more than five decades of marriage to the woman he loved. Through it all, his greatest treasures remained his faith and his family.
