Neal Hightower Bridgwater was born on August 16, 1938 in Baltimore, MD to John Bridgwater Jr. and Louise Bridgwater. In his younger years he grew up in Sylacauga, AL then eventually moved to Winnetka, IL where he graduated high school. Neal graduated college from the University of Illinois in 1960 with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences.
Neal was a jack of all trades having many careers throughout his life. From being a banker, to a grocery store owner in Alaska, to a sales man, he excelled no matter what field he was in. Neal married the love of his life Jennifer, on November 24, 1984 where they lovingly raised Jennifer's son Sam and their daughter Whitney. Neal retired after many years of being a luxury wine salesman, where he and Jennifer enjoyed their time together. Neal was an avid reader, solitaire expert, classical music lover, and very active in his neighborhood home owner's association
Neal is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years Jennifer Salyer Bridgwater. His parents John and Louise Bridgwater Jr. And his brother John Bridgwater III.
He is survived by his son Sam Moore, daughter Whitney Lorch, daughter Bari Bridgwater Bell, and son Scott Bridgwater. As well as many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at DeGusipe funeral home on April 18th at 4pm.
