Nayda R. Gonzalez-Dominguez, 86, of Sanford, Florida went to heaven on Sunday July 16, 2017. She was born on May 13, 1931 in Carolina, Puerto Rico to Fernando Gonzalez and Marta Quinones. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Army Veteran Pedro Dominguez, two brothers Fernando and Antonio and sister Julie. She has a surviving sister Sara in Puerto Rico. She is beloved and survived by her three sons and daughter's-in-law, Pedro and Fran of Maryland, Carlos and Laura of Alabama, James and Shari of Florida, two grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew, three step-grandchildren Ejae, Sharena and Chasten, three great step-granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Nayda worked as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture and was a devout Roman Catholic woman who practiced her faith daily. Nayda was loved by many and loved many people as well, she was generous, had a sweet disposition and was happy in life. She enjoyed singing, sewing, politics, fine arts, shopping, casinos, being on the class reunion committee and her café con leche y azucar!
