An old, dear friend commented, "Natalie was the best that any parent would be blessed to have." Truer words could never be spoken. She also was the best sister to Josh, who she loved and adored. She was the best pet-sister to her dog, Riley, who she missed maybe most of all when she was away at school. She was the best cousin to Sophia, who she loved more like a sister. She was the best friend to Leah and Mackenzie; loyal, sincere and forever. She was the best of everything to Tristan; who brought her so much happiness.
She was a dedicated student – at Holy Family Catholic School, Dr. Phillips High School and Florida State University, working toward a wonderful life and career. And through it all, Natalie was becoming an amazing young woman. She filled her short life with love, joy, music – and pictures!
There are no words to express our sorrow on losing our precious Natalie. But there are not enough words to describe how we loved her and how incredible she was: smart, funny, beautiful, joyful, loving, kind-hearted, silly, strong-willed, witty, honest …
Natalie was loved beyond measure by her family and by so many who knew her. She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Roy Nickchen and her Grandma Rita (Tomasello), both who cherished her immensely, and by her cousin Jack, another young life taken too soon.
Those left here to carry on her light and her memory include:
Her parents, Jeff and Lisa and her brother, Josh – we are blessed to call her "ours"
Grandma Nickchen – Joan, with whom she shared a special handshake and a special bond
Many aunts and uncles: Toni – her godmother (Jon), Susan (Mike), Tom (Becky), Connie (Mark), Jeff (Marie), Laurie, Chris (Deb), Todd (Brandi) and Cory (Elizabeth)
Twenty first cousins and many other relatives and friends.
May your spirit soar, sweet Natalie! We love you forever and ever
