Professor Narsingh Deo came to Orlando in 1986 as the Millican Endowed Chair Professor of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Deo and his wife of 55 years have lived in many places such as Pullman, Washington, Pasadena, California, Evanston, Illinois, and in Kanpur, U.P., India.

Prof. Deo was renowned in his field of graph theory algorithms, combinatorics, parallel computing and bioinformatics.

He leaves behind his wife Karen, and three children Alok (Monica), Sandhya (Steve), and Jyoti (Peter); also five grandchildren Rajan, Nikhil, Neha, Kiran, Joelie and his brother Mohan (Cathy) . His service will be for immediate family.
