Nancy Wester, 66, Of Casselberry, Florida, passed away January 21, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. Born September 11, 1951 in Peru Illinois she is predeceased by her parents Mildred and Frank Kosciewicz.
She received an Associate of Arts degree in computer science at Illinois Valley Community College. She married her husband, Robert Wester in 1978 and moved to Lisle, Illinois, where she owned and operated a home daycare. In 1989, she moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin where she became a teacher's aide in regular and special needs classrooms. In 1993, she moved to Lake in the Hills, Illinois where she continued as a paraprofessional in special needs classrooms, and continued that when she moved to Casselberry, Florida in 2001.
She touched and influenced many children's lives and had a gift for helping children with special needs. She was a smart and fun-loving person who always put other's needs in front of her own. She was an avid aqua fitness exerciser, swimmer, crafter, and enjoyed traveling. To those closest to her, she was known as a cleaning perfectionist. But nothing made her happier then spending time with her two beautiful grandchildren Ava, 2.5 years old, and Elise, 4 months old.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert Wester, daughter Michelle (Dave) Higginson of Apopka, Florida, son Mark (Maria) Wester and two grandchildren Ava and Elise, of Sanford, Florida.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue Maitland, FL 32751.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs FL 32701.
