Nancy Ann Sudbury, 65, of Longwood, Fla., passed away peacefully on Nov. 2, 2014. Nancy was born Sept 1. 1949, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Delmore and Emily Swanson. She was raised by her grandparents Walter and Helen Swanson as well as her aunt Gertrude Swanson.

She attended Lake Wales High School and Orange Memorial School of Nursing. She was a nurse by profession and by nature. She dedicated her life to caring for those in need while touching and healing many lives.

Her greatest joy and achievement were her children, Amanda and Rob. Being a mother was where she found purpose in life. She was a dedicated mother who put her children before herself in every way.

She enjoyed a great many interests including reading, writing, quilting and crafting to name a few. She loved animals, especially dogs.

Her favorite place to be was Anna Maria Island near Sarasota, Fla. She brought her children there every year throughout their childhood and she always said it was her place of peace.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida.
