Obituary

Nancy Schieber, CPA passed away at home on June 23, 2017 in Maitland, Florida at the end of a courageous four year battle with cancer. She was 61. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank, sons Erik and Grant and her sister, Ginny Rosbury. Nancy was born on January 24, 1956 in Fort Pierce, Florida to Charles and Virginia Stanley. A native Floridian, Nancy briefly moved to Philadelphia after she graduated high school, but then returned to Orlando, Florida after a year to escape the cold weather.

Nancy worked for an Orlando CPA public accounting firm and then as an accountant for Automation Intelligence, a local contract manufacturing company. Nancy attended University of Central Florida at night while getting her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She met Frank in 1980 while they lived in the same apartment complex and dated for a few years, marrying in 1984. Nancy then obtained her Master's degree from UCF and then obtained her CPA designation.

Nancy created and grew her own CPA accounting practice on Maitland Avenue simply by word of mouth from loyal clients who adored her. She was very attentive to her clients and took the time to get to know them, their families and their financial situations. During tax season, her clients would bring her presents when they came to drop off their tax information. Nancy sold her CPA practice two+ years ago to become Certified Financial Officer (CFO) of long-time client Quality Manufacturing Services in Lake Mary, the successor firm to Automation Intelligence.

Nancy was an ardent fan of Florida Gator (University of Florida) and SEC football. Nancy enjoyed tennis, boating, salt water fishing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling and traveling. Notable trips included the Bahamas, Europe, Washington D.C., North Carolina and Kauai, Hawaii. She loved her boys, and because of them, was active in the Children's Home Society Auxiliary in the early 1990s and as a Cub Scout Pack leader for Page Private School from 1998-2001.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Nancy's memory to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Comforter.
