Rudland, Nancy S. 63 passed from this life on September 11th, 2016. Ms. Rudland was a native Floridian, born in Rockledge, FL, the daughter of Thomas & Blanche Rudland. She graduated from Colonial High School, Orlando, in 1971. She attended the University of Central Florida, graduated with a B.S. in Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University in 1976. She travelled and worked throughout the United States and Europe, living in Paris, France for a while. She joined the U.S. Army in 1982 serving as a Chaplain's Assistant at Ft. Riley, Kansas. Upon leaving the military she became an Auditor for the Department of the Army where she served in West Germany for many years. Later she moved to Michigan where she attended the University of Michigan receiving teacher certification and an M.A. in Special Education. Ms. Rudland taught elementary and middle school in both Michigan and Florida. She retired in 2014. She was a member of the University Carillon United Methodist Church, Oviedo, Florida.
A memorial service will be held on September 17th at UCUMC.

Ms. Rudland has a son, Jeremy Rudland, who survives her. She is also survived by cousin, Susan McWilliams of Byron, Michigan, and other cousins throughout the country. She also leaves a brother, two nephews, and a neice.
