On August 7, 2021, Nancy Mary Wyrough Hartman, 92, entered the Church Triumphant after a period of declining health.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; a sister, Bernadette Wyrough; son Leo; and her long time companion and beloved friend, Charles Cattaneo. She is survived by a sister, Louise Daft of Philadelphia, PA; her children Larry (Jamie) of Ooltewah, TN; Richard (Dottie) of Baton Rouge, LA; Dan (Linda) of Niceville, FL; Anne Hartman Fleming, Maitland, FL; and Peter (Dawn) of Tampa, FL, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy graduated from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida with her husband, David, where she taught music at Seminole State College for 28 years. She was a charter member of St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Maitland and served as organist there for over 30 years where she was also a Eucharistic minister, CCD instructor, and member of St Gerard women's circle. She was a long term member of the Winter Park Musicale and served as President during her association there and on the scholarship committee. She was also a member of the Rollins College Bach Festival Choir. Music was always an integral part of her life, and she provided instruction and career guidance to many budding musicians. Nancy was a person of great and enduring faith and lived a rich and full life that was a wonderful example to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, FL on Saturday, August 14 at 10:00 am.

Burial will be at Palm Cemetery, Winter Park, FL. Arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to your favorite charity in her memory.
