N. Day McAdams passed on April 20, 2021. He was born in Columbus Grove, Ohio on April 16, 1928 to N. Day McAdams and Edna Botts McAdams.

Day was a florist and a grower. He was an accomplished floral designer and often presented his ideas at floral conventions. While he owned and operated McAdams Florist in Lake Forest, IL, he was well known in the business world to add beautiful arrangements and decorations for large corporate parties.

Day called Columbus Grove, Ohio; Lake Bluff, IL; Mesa, AZ and Sanford, FL homes. He enjoyed Puerto Vallarta and traveling abroad.

Day is survived by Dr. Clifford Hurston, partner and best friend for over 40 years. He is also survived by his children Sue (Dennis); Cliff (Bev); Connie and Julie(Bob). Also surviving is a very loving loyal dog, Vickie. And brother Tom McAdams (Bonnie) survives. Day had 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Jean, daughter Bonnie and son Jeff. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lusk and H. Bernice Allen as well as 2 grandsons Russel and Aaron.

Memorial service will be held in Columbus Grove, Ohio on Saturday, June 26 at 1:00 pm at Turo Cemetery. An additional celebration of life will take place late Summer 2021 in Sanford.
