Myrna Gaderick, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 12, 2023. A loving wife to Franklin, of 65 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Myrna was born on June 8, 1935, to Captain Louis Muniz and Carmen Munera Muniz. She was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, spent her high school years at Sacred Heart High School in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, and then attended The Catholic University of Ponce, Puerto Rico. After graduating, she returned to New York City to work, met her husband Frank and they married in 1958. They moved to Greenwich, Ct where they raised their three daughters, Joanne Reynolds, Michelle Snyder and Regina Barry. Myrna also known as "Mimi" was dedicated to her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren who she called her "shining stars". She was pre deceased by her sister Norma Muniz and survived by her cousin Joanne Wirshing who was like a sister to her.

Myrna had a strong community connection. She served for Meals-on-Wheels in Greenwich. She was the Girl Scout Troop leader for all her daughters and Chair of the Girl Scout Cookie Fundraiser. In 1977 she was honored with a special award for her service. She was also a Master at bridge, an avid golfer, tennis player and owner of a service business.

While the list of giving back to others is deep and rich, the most important thing in her life was family. She will be fondly remembered and loved by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date. In remembrance of Myrna Gaderick's life, the family asked that any charitable donations be made to Advent Health Hospice of Central Florida.
