MSgt. Titus Smith, USAF (Ret.) of Altamonte Springs, FL, graciously entered into the open of arms of his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2017 at the age of 102. He was born on August 10, 1915 in Pinetop, KY to the late William and Myrta Smith. He was one of twelve children.

Titus enlisted in the Army Air Corps and honorably served our great nation during WWII. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Phyllis in 2006.

He will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Titus was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Maitland.

Memories will be cherished by his son, Garvin, his daughter-in-law, Jewel, Grandchildren, Kim Smith, David Sweares and Kelly Goodman, Great Grandchildren William Nelson, Devin Nelson, Matthew Goodman and Kevin Goodman; 2 brothers, Oliver B. and Ambros B. Smith, and 3 sisters, Mary Collins, Mildred Brown and Helen Taylor. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - Maitland Chapel, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL where the family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Thursday, November 30th at the 1st Baptist Church of Maitland, following with a private interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
