Monte Sue Denson, loving mother and wife died Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, in the hospital in Orlando, Florida at age 74.

Mrs. Denson was born Monte Sue Dillon in 1947 in Fostoria, Ohio to Archie and Norma Dillon. The Dillon family moved to Orlando when Monte was six years old where she lived the rest of her life, attending Glenridge Junior High and Winter Park High Schools (class of 1965).

Monte was a steady, devoted wife and mother, holding boundless love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. She loved water skiing with friends and family in her early years and line dancing with her friends in her latter years. She immersed herself in gardening and floriculture throughout.

Monte proved to be a remarkably heroic fighter, successfully battling breast cancer and was eventually the recipient of a lung transplant in 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard, her two sons, Darryl and David, and her three grandchildren, Riley, Dillon, and Cameron.
