Molly Familia McDaniel, our vibrant devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and dear friend to so many, passed away amongst her family and closest friends Monday, October 18th, 2021, at her home in Maitland, FL, ending her brave fight against cancer. Though Molly's battle was inspirational to many, cancer is not what defined her. Always the most gracious host, thoughtful event planner, and passionate organizer of all things large or small, Molly gave joy to so many. She offered a sound ear and advice when needed and only the wittiest responses when a good laugh was sure to do the trick. Molly leaves a hole in many hearts and her family and dearest friends will miss her greatly.

Born August 4th, 1990, in Jackson, MS, to William W. Familia and Melinda Mock Familia, Molly and her family would soon make their way to Florida where she would spend most of her life.

Molly graduated from Spruce Creek High School in 2009. She received her EMT Certification from Daytona State College. A lover of adventure and travel, Molly lived in Alaska for a short time, loving the change in scenery and weather.

Molly married the love of her life, Sutton Thomas McDaniel, in Orlando, FL, on July 18th, 2019. Molly and Sutton appreciated their time together and knew every day was a gift. A lifetime of memories was made with family and friends who shared so much of this time.

Molly was preceded in death by her Grandmother Tracy McGuire Mock, Aunt Melissa Mock Fort, Uncle William Roberts and Cousin Peyton Alombro.

In addition to her husband Sutton, Molly is survived by her parents, William and Melinda Familia, sister and brother in law Lindsay Familia Lombardi and Steven Lombardi, brother William Familia II, sister Megan Familia and her nephews and niece Ricardo Bell Familia, Jayden Lombardi and Angiolina Lombardi.

A celebration of life Mass will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
