Miles Thomas Hunter

Miles Thomas Hunter age 13, of Lake Mary, FL, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born on October 20, 2012 in Orlando, FL, he brought immeasurable light, laughter, and warmth to everyone who knew him.

Miles was a vibrant young boy with a kind and joyful spirit. A student at Lake Mary Elementary School, he was known for his bright smile and infectious giggles. Miles loved to play baseball with the Altamonte Buddy Ball program, visiting and riding attractions at Disney World, going to school, reading books, splashing in the pool, and loving on his family.

He is survived and deeply missed by his loving parents, Julie and Michael; his sister, Avery; his grandparents, Connie, Marilyn, and Michael; his aunts and uncles, Mary, Carrie, Stephanie, Nathan, and Brian; his cousins Paige, Elora, Gavin, and Jake; and countless friends, teachers, and neighbors.

Miles’ funeral will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Annunciation Catholic Church (1020 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL, 32714).

A reception and celebration lunch will follow immediately after the service at Hourglass Brewery (480 South Ronald Reagan Blvd, Suite 1020, Longwood, FL 32750).

In honor of Miles’ bright personality and joyful spirit, the family kindly asks that guests refrain from wearing traditional dark or black attire. Instead, please wear bright, joyful colors to celebrate his life.
