Mildred (Millie) Cannon Croft, 88, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on September 2, 2019. Millie was born June 23, 1931 in Robinson, GA. She grew up in Union Point, GA. Soon after high school graduation, Millie moved to Atlanta, GA. and worked for a short period of time at Sears and later secured a teller position with the Federal Reserve Bank. While living in Atlanta, she met the love of her life, Bill. They were married at Jackson Hill Baptist Church on February 17, 1951. Millie and her family relocated to Lakeland, Fl. in 1956, where she worked with Peoples Bank of Lakeland for forty years. She retired from Peoples Bank as an Assistant Vice President of the Personnel Department. Millie, Bill, and children moved from Lakeland to Winter Haven in 1965. She was a member of Inman Park Baptist Church of Winter Haven and the Personnel Directors Association of Lakeland. Millie was an excellent Southern cook, who loved to cook for her family. She also loved gardening, coupon clipping and doing jigsaw puzzles. But her very favorite activity involved antique shopping and going to garage sales.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband Bill Croft, Sr., her father Harold Lamb Cannon, mother Frances Evelyn Cannon, and sisters Martha Frances, Sarah Ethel, and Carolyn "Annette" Rainwater.
Millie is survived by her three children Bill Croft, Jr. (Lisa) of Maitland, FL., Terry Ann (Al) Pustanio of Mandeville, LA., and Carol Jane Pierce of Plant City, FL., sisters Mary Jordan of Sasser, GA., Bennie Ruth Matthews of Crawfordville, GA., brothers Harry Cannon (Ruth) of Comer, GA. and Jim Cannon (Alma) of Richmond, TX., grandchildren Cindy Crawford, Kristen Criddle, Matt Croft, Elise Pustanio, Michael Pustanio, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Robinson Baptist Church located in the community of Robinson, Georgia.
